Corona Virus: PCB Announces Donation of Rs 5 Lakh
(Web Desk) The Pakistan Cricket Board has announced that all cricketers and employees with its central contract will contribute to the Government Emergency Fund through financial support to fight the Corona virus.
In this regard, PCB Central Contracting players will donate a total of Rs. 5 lakhs.
In addition, employees up to the rank of senior manager of the PCB will contribute one day of their monthly salary, while the general manager and senior staff will donate to the 2-day salary fund.
The PCB as a company will collect all donations and fund the government-established fund to fight the Corona virus. Remember that the World Health Organization has declared the Corona virus a global outbreak.
Chairman PCB Ehsan Mani said that it is the tradition of the Pakistan Cricket Board that he stands with his government at every difficult time. He said it was a difficult time for the health workers besides our provincial and federal governments.
Chairman PCB said that he is praying for the health and well-being of his health workers so that our society can run as fast as possible and in this regard PCB has joined hands with the government in the fight against Corona virus. So this is a small effort.
He added that the success of a nation is determined by its unity in difficult times, and in this difficult time we all have to face this outbreak.
Ehsan Mani said that he once again appealed to the Pakistan Cricket Board to all the people to take precautionary measures, the only way to protect them and their loved ones from the outbreak. Chairman PCB said: "We are a very strong nation and they believe that we can all together overcome this outbreak."
