I own a PSL team by all means: Shoaib Akhtar

Former fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar of the Lahore Pakistan Cricket Team has expressed interest in buying the Pakistan Super League (PSL) team and said that taking advantage of my reputation around the world, the popularity of the national league can be further enhanced. Talking to a private news agency, Shoaib Akhtar said that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) should add two more new teams to the PSL and now if they see that Shoaib Akhtar is sitting in the bid. They should make sure I own a team.
I am probably the player most liked not only in Pakistan but also abroad. People know me very well and I will be investing in all parts of the world besides spreading the PSL brand all over the world.
Shoaib Akhtar, 44, citing the example of the Indian Premier League (IPL), said that he sold a team to actors like Shah Rukh to increase his league reputation. Earlier this month, he urged people to campaign for the Rawalpindi team in the PSL next season.
